IndyCar officers clear Josef Newgarden to qualify for race

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Josef Newgarden has been cleared to qualify for Saturday’s IndyCar race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway after being re-evaluated by docs following Friday morning’s apply session.

The 2-time collection champ collapsed in his motorhome, putting the again of his head after crashing throughout final weekend’s race at Iowa and was airlifted to a hospital.
