Pac-12 commissioner takes shot at Large 12

Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff addressed reporters Friday and did not pull punches when requested about convention realignment. On the high of his checklist of grievances was the Large 12, with Kliavkoff accusing the convention of working to “destabilize” the Pac-12.

In June, USC and UCLA shook the school soccer panorama by saying an impending transfer to the Large Ten. Since then, rumors have swirled about different convention modifications, together with talks that the Large 12 may try so as to add as many as six of the remaining 10 colleges within the Pac-12.

Kliavkoff mentioned Friday that the Large 12’s makes an attempt to poach groups are as a result of convention being “scared” by the Pac-12’s media worth.
