Ron Rivera expects Chase Younger to overlook ‘a little bit little bit of time’

Coaching camps have begun throughout the NFL, together with within the nation’s capital. One of many lingering questions of Washington Commanders’ camp would be the potential availability of former Defensive Rookie of the 12 months Chase Younger as he recovers from a torn ACL suffered in Week 10 of the 2021 season.

Commanders head coach Ron Rivera addressed the subject on Friday morning.

It was reported originally of June that the 2020 Professional Bowl defensive lineman did not have a timetable for his return from the damage. Previous to the season-ending damage, Younger had collected 26 tackles, 4 quarterback hits, two compelled fumbles and 1.5 sacks.

With the potential absence of the 23-year-old within the lineup, Washington is projected to trot out the likes of Daron Payne, Professional Bowler Jonathan Allen and Montez Sweat alongside the defensive position.
