Ruby Soho says AEW fans have a special connection to the talent

Ruby Soho felt the full force of the AEW fanbase on her debut at All Out earlier this month. The live crowd met her reveal as the Joker in the Casino Battle Royale with rapturous applause.

Her emotional reaction to the thunderous welcome was etched on her face as she made her entrance.

In a new interview with Digital Spy, AEW newcomer said that one of the reasons AEW is so great is because of the fans.

“I think one of the best things about AEW is, and why our fans are so amazing, they see everyone on our roster as the most authentic version of themselves and I think they respond to that.

“I think that’s why they’re so connected and so rumbustious and so involved is because they can see, this is who this person is and they can relate to that.”

“So I think that’s one of the beautiful things about this place, it’s just a wide variety from all different walks of life, all different kinds of people that are truly true to themselves.”

Ruby Soho faces Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s World Championship. The match takes place on September 22nd at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
